A Sonic drive-in restaurant is set for construction on Fortress Boulevard in Murfreesboro between the Manson Pike intersection and the Murfreesboro Bell apartment complex.
Aspects of the restaurant’s construction plan received approval during the May 28 meeting of the Murfreesboro Board of Zoning Appeals, according to the meeting’s record.
The board also conditionally allowed construction of a five-building apartment complex at 903 Southeast Broad Street, permitted temporary fireworks vendors to set up shop on the parking lots of the Cason Lane and Memorial Boulevard Kroger stores, gave Middle Tennessee Christian School permission to build six lighted tennis courts at the school’s 100 East MTCS Road campus, and approved an expansion of the Presbyterian Student Fellowship house at 2529 Middle Tennessee Boulevard.
