MTSU-Vandy Game Crowd Keeps Campus Police Busy

Posted on October 7, 2015October 7, 2015 by Ken Blake

Several alcohol-related incidents kept MTSU Police busy during and after Saturday’s MTSU-Vanderbilt game at Floyd Stadium, records show.

Police responded to three public intoxication cases in the stadium during the game as well as two alcohol violations at Corlew Hall around 9:30 p.m. Two trespassing and two resisting arrest incidents also took place in the stadium during the game.

Elsewhere on campus, a hit-and-run occurred on the Jones Lot behind the Keathley University Center (K); one motorist was arrested at Scarlett Commons for driving on a suspended license (A); vandalism occurred along Alma Mater Drive (C); and five thefts were reported across campus, although police classified one as unfounded.
